The Ultra RX is an automatic coating system for the application of high performance, scratch resistant coating to all types of plastics and polycarbonate lenses. The Ultra RX is Ultra Optics first tabletop fully integrated coating system capable of producing 25 jobs of quality coated lenses per hour. The 100% solids coating technology is operator friendly, containing no hazardous or flammable solvents and no offensive odors commonly found in solvent based coatings. UV-Curable coatings are the result of constant development efforts of our own inhouse chemist.

Ultra RX Set up Requirements:

Dimensions: 24D x 26W x 34H    (with stand 68H) Electrical: 115 VAC/15AMP with a grounded    three-pronged receptacle The physical location should be with a    good ventilation and air exchange rate of    4-5 times per hour. A normal heating/cooling    A/C system will provide about 3-6 air    exchanges per hour Water: Deionized water is adequate for the    cleaning system. A five gallon reservoir is    supplied. A direct water source and/or    drain is not necessary Customer Supplied: Compressed air—80    psi (10 CFM) minimum of air at a constant    source 3/8” Air Line with a 1/4” Female    Quick coupler “Quick Disconnect”
